Tourism industry can be happy with the support their 3 projects have
received from the Svalbard Environmental Fund. Altogheter 4,4 mln kroner
will be delivered to 23 projects, 14 of which are led by local recipients.
Sustainable tourism, cultural heritage and environmental research are the
successful recipients of money from the Svalbard Environmental Fund in this
round. As many as 8 research projects, 3 tourism-related projects and
projects with focus on preserving cultural heritage were prioritised.
